Barking Dog
Dog owners are responsible for ensuring that their dogs' barking does not create a serious annoyance to the neighborhood. No one may allow their dog to continuously bark, howl, whine or in any way disturb their neighbors' peaceful enjoyment of their properties.
Constant barking should be reported to Code Enforcement for follow-up using one of the below methods:
- Submit a service request via the EngleFix mobile app or online portal
- Contact Code Enforcement/Animal Welfare at 303-762-2335
- Contact the Police non-emergency number at 303-761-7410
Officers will usually issue a verbal warning to the pet's owner.
Please note that in order to cite a dog's owner into Municipal Court, two identified witnesses from separate households are required.
