City ordinance requires owners and occupants of properties in Englewood to maintain the alley adjacent to the property. This is to includes: 

Tress & Shrubs

• Keep trimmed to minimize impact on neighboring properties and ensure visibility of traffic, street signs, and traffic signals.
• Maintain along public rights-of-way to avoid obstructing traffic visibility and pedestrian clearance.

Grass & Weeds

• Keep cut to six inches (6") or less.

Clippings, Leaves, & Branches

• Do not deposit into gutters, streets, alleys, or public places.
• Properly dispose of all items to prevent fire, safety, or flooding hazards

If you use an arborist, they must be licensed in the City of Englewood.
